We are located in the White Mountains of Arizona. We hunt and compete our dogs in AKC and American Field trials at an amateur level. We are Responsible Breeders as a hobby with the goal to “continuously improve our breeding program". We will selectively breed 0 - 3 times a year to produce friendly, family hunting dogs that conform to the breed standard.
Remember our American Idols.

| In June I packed up the camper again and headed back to New Mexico. This time we went to Cloudcroft which is a small mountain community located in the Lincoln National Forest. We camped at an altitude of 9,020 feet and the trial grounds were Alpine meadows bordered by Aspen and Spruce trees. This trial was hosted by the Paso Del Norte German Shorthaired Pointer Club and Etta and Kid were the only Britts entered. In spite of a little good natured ribbing by the GSP folks we were warmly welcomed to their event. Etta and I are a TEAM...I drive her to the event, stay out of her way and she wins. She was awarded 1st place in both Amateur and Open Puppy. On the other hand, "Kid" could not resist a meadow full of deer skat and after about 5 minutes of smelling deer poop, I "benched him". |

Many people who visit our web site ask about Field Trials. With out going into a boring discussion on it, you can visit www. AKC.org for a detailed explanation. Its a great way of meeting fellow sporting dog owners. Many of these people find this to be an excellent way to keep their dogs "sharp" and ready for the hunting season. If you like dogs, horses, camping out and hanging with people who like the same thing, you should try field trialing. By clicking the picture to the left you can see a slide show of pictures I have taken over the years and the different venues in the southwest. I borrowed this picture from Jessica Carlson, Flashpointphoto.com |

Someone asked me the other day, "why is this puppy the last one?". I told them there always has to be a "last one". Probably not a good answer but there is no good reason other than to say I did not really promote Blackie that much because I kinda like him. A lot of our customers are from out of state and make their selections based on pictures. I can now say that Blackie likes his birds. I had a pigeon casuality from training some of my older pups the other day. I brought it home and offered it to Blackie and he sniffed it and picked it up by its foot. After a few seconds, he dropped it and he picked it up like a real bird dog and went trotting off with his tail straight up. He finally came back to me and turned the bird over. If no one wants him, I will keep him around and start him off on training when he gets a few month older. He is going to make a fine little bird dog. Give me a call if you have any interest in him.

One of the most rewarding parts of breeding great bird dogs is getting pictures and emails from our dogs friend telling us how their pups are doing. Click here for a slide show of our customers and their pups. |

Please take a few minutes to browse our Website and let us show off our dogs.
Enjoy,
